Aphid Control Action Plan
A free printable aphid rescue plan — the yeast fertilizer boost, Castile soap and neem spray, and leaf-pruning steps in one garden-side reference.

When aphids show up, you want the plan in your hand, not buried in an article. This printable breaks the Lucky Cat aphid rescue routine into three clear steps — a garden-side reference you can print once and keep with your spray bottles.
What the Action Plan Helps You Do
- Step 1 — Yeast fertilizer boost. A gentle feed for plant vigor: 1 tablespoon active dry yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar mixed into 2 gallons of water, left to sit 2–4 days, then diluted or poured at the base of plants and watered in. Used up to three times — at seedling stage, first bloom, and first fruit set.
- Step 2 — Castile soap and neem spray. 2 tablespoons Castile soap and 1 teaspoon neem oil in 1/2 gallon of water, shaken well and sprayed on affected plants every 4–5 days, focusing on the undersides of leaves.
- Step 3 — Prune infested leaves. Trim only the worst leaves with clean, sharp scissors, and dispose of them far from the garden so the pests do not move straight back in.
How to Use It
Download and print it, then keep it wherever you check plants — the garden shed, a binder, or clipped inside a seed box. Each step is on its own page, so you can print just the step you need.
For a broader seasonal reference, the resource library also carries a Summer Pest Survival Cheat Sheet.
